Project | Benson Brewery
social media + rebrand + swag design
I have been working at Benson Brewery as a server for a little over two years.. Working at "the Brew" has been full of unexpected opportunity.
Our former GM, Ben, wanted to rebrand building off of the sprocket logo we've had for years. His idea was to create something that was more detailed and brewery-focused. After loads of brainstorming at work and a couple changes, he chose the "X" design.
The Debut IPA and the Brewer's DUET were brewed so regularly he asked me to create t-shirt designs for those and had ideas for our other popular brews. Ben moved on to start Early Bird, but I have done some work for our current management.

Here are some banner images I've created and/or edited. Explaining all of these individually here is not necessary. They have the same thing in common: my clients had requests/edits that I knew I'd be able to turnover more quickly than sending them through the designer editing process. VM was flooding with new clients so I happily took over a few things to help out!
A couple coworkers and I took over VM's Instagram, meeting weekly to plan out posts. I looked forward to it - I think it was the creative flow between us.

Project | Benson First Friday Member Ball

A friend of mine, Alex Jochim, asked me to create a postcard invitation for the BFF Member's Only Ball. It's an event to thank members and recruit new ones. Alex also asked for a poster to match. The poster was my favorite piece of the project, The coolest part for me was walking through Benson and seeing the poster on light poles, in bars and the storefronts. That feeling is hard to describe, but it's fun to experience.

Here are some other things I've done: cute prints friends or family asked me to make, custom birthday invitations, event posters, the program layout/design for a fashion show, and logo options I've sent clients before finalizing - ranging from a chiropractic office in Arkansas to a new pool company in Omaha.
